About the event

Learn from a vegan chef and licensed Food for Life instructor about why a whole food, plant-based diet supports your best health and compassionate desires, and how easy, delicious, and affordable it is to put more plants on your plate! 

Have you tried unsuccessfully to make healthy changes to your diet?

Do you feel overwhelmed by all the conflicting dietary information?

Have you been cheating yourself out of maintaining your healthiest weight?

Are you concerned about elevated cholesterol or blood pressure? 

If you're new to this but know that you want to feel better and live compassionately, this introductory class is for you! This Food for Life class includes a video, a cook-along class, and resources to help you get started. 

Menu: Together we'll make one-pot sweet potato lentil curry with collards, zesty corn and edamame salad, and no-bake brownie bites!

What to Expect: 

Recipes with a shopping list will be sent one week in advance along with the link to join. Chef Linda will provide contact information should you have any questions about shopping or prepping! Style is fun and relaxing.

Ingredients: This class is 100% plant-based/vegan, gluten-free, low-fat, and high-fiber!  

Technology: Connect via Google Meet on your computer, tablet, or phone

Fully Interactive: Classes are intimate so don't be shy in asking questions along the way!

Duration: About 90 minutes

Prep: Recipes require some prep in advance
