Inflammation is your body’s way of protecting itself from infection, illness, or injury. Chronic, or prolonged, inflammation is harmful because it gradually damages healthy cells, tissues, and organs. This increases your risk of developing illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver disease, and cancer.
There are many things you can do to reduce inflammation and improve your overall health and diet is a big factor. In this culinary workshop, you’ll learn:
- How inflammation affects your body and what you can do about it
- Some of the best anti-inflammatory foods to eat and what to avoid
- Delicious, plant-based anti-inflammatory recipes you’ll enjoy again and again
- Culinary skills that will help you build confidence in your own kitchen
- Lifestyle recommendations that will complement the culinary program
What to Expect: Recipes with a shopping list will be sent one week in advance along with the link to join. Chef Linda will provide contact information should you have any questions about shopping or prepping! Style is fun and relaxing.
Ingredients: This class is vegan, gluten-free, and oil-free. Adjust sodium based on your preferences.
